Description: This class is for anyone who is a complete beginner and new to HTML/CSS and coding in general. Perfect for designers, entrepreneurs, freelancers and small business owners who want to have control over their own custom websites. Learn to build a website and make minor changes and updates yourself, instead of paying an hourly rate to outsourced web designers for every little thing.

Learn to create and code websites from scratch using your own computer, with no prior experience, in just four 1.5hrs classes. This is a hands-on website coding class with an instructor who will provide step-by-step training. No more than eight people per class, so you will get personalized attention with instructor-led training in our classroom.

You will be creating a real website, and we’ll dive right in to teach you exactly what you need to know to make webpages. At the end of the class, you will have built a complete and functioning website using modern techniques that all of your friends, family and customers can see.

Instructor Mandy Brake has 15 years engineering and coding experience, and has taught programming to many beginners. She has built or modified over 100 websites, and is currently VP of Technology for LRNGO.com.

Four classes of 1.5 hours each. Expected time outside of class for homework: 1 hour. Must bring your own working laptop. Enrollment is limited to eight students per class.
