Part-Time Homeschool Teacher (2nd & 4th Grade)

Looking for an experienced and enthusiastic homeschool teacher to provide personalized, in-person instruction for two elementary students in the 2nd and 4th grades in Miami, Florida. This part-time position offers the opportunity to create engaging, individualized learning experiences tailored to each student's academic abilities, learning style, and personal interests. The organization provides the core curriculum while encouraging teachers to adapt lessons and incorporate additional resources to support student success.

The teacher will deliver one-on-one instruction three days per week and facilitate one day of combined instruction for both students. Responsibilities include customizing lesson plans, adjusting curriculum pacing based on student mastery, preparing instructional materials, maintaining weekly lesson plans using a proprietary customized calendar, tracking academic progress, and keeping organized student records. The role also involves building positive relationships with students and their family while fostering a structured, supportive, and encouraging learning environment that promotes confidence, curiosity, and independent learning.

Qualified candidates should have at least three years of teaching or homeschooling experience, preferably with elementary students in grades 2–4. Experience working with multiple homeschool curricula, differentiated instruction, and personalized learning approaches is highly valued. The ideal educator is organized, patient, adaptable, engaging, and committed to making learning both meaningful and enjoyable. A teaching credential or equivalent elementary teaching experience is preferred, along with a bachelor's degree, successful completion of a background check, and professional references.

This is an in-person, part-time position located in Miami, FL, with a schedule of Tuesday through Friday and 14 guaranteed hours per week. Compensation ranges from $55–$60 per hour, and the role includes a flexible schedule.
