A bit about me: I have a BA in English from UC Berkeley and a certification in Orton-Gillingham Classroom Educator teaching with an emphasis on elementary children with Dyslexia or other learning challenges. I have worked with many kids who have Dyslexia, Dysgraphia, and ADD.
My philosophy is to help my students learn while having fun and instill confidence in their academic work and personal lives.
I am also a long-time academic coach and bilingual educator for a well-respected academy in the Bay Area. My focus areas are general elementary subjects, with an emphasis on reading, writing, spelling, handwriting skills, and Spanish. I tutor online or in person in the Peninsula/South Bay areas (within a reasonable radius from Los Altos).
