I am a former elementary teacher looking to help sharpen your child's academic skills. I am professional, flexible, dedicated, and fun! :)

I have worked as an elementary teacher for seven years, and a professional language arts tutor for the past eight years. I specialize in reading instruction but I have experience in all subjects. I use a variety of techniques, but my reading instruction is mainly phonics-based. I have seen wonderful results when students are given tools to use to "attack" new words instead of relying on rote memorization.

After conducting an initial assessment, I will tailor my instruction to your child's needs. I have worked with developmentally delayed, ADHD, dyslexic, and autistic students. My goal is not only to see your child improve but to make a personal connection with them and to help them enjoy what they are learning!
