I, Elaine Mae C. Asuncion have been teaching secondary school students for more than 8 years handling the English subject. I taught my students the Basic English Grammar which includes the parts of speech, sentence structure and vocabulary words. I also taught my students to appreciate literature, creative writing, technical writing, etc. To equip myself in teaching the subject, I took Master of Arts in Education major in English so to deepen my knowledge on the subject and to broaden my vocabulary in English. My experiences with my students made me become a more empathetic person because of my daily communication with them. I learned to go down to their level so I would be able to make the lesson easier for them to understand and to encourage them to apply what they have learned, to their daily life. So, I believe that I would be great in jobs wherein I would handle clients who needs support in learning the language.
