Lead Guide

Private School, $150,000/year ($75/hour) paid weekly, W-2 Salary, In-Person, Full-time (40 hrs/week), 8:00 am to 5:00 pm M-F, Day-One Health Benefits, Relocation Support Available, Long-Term Role

Seeking a highly driven education leader to help students achieve exceptional outcomes through a non-traditional learning model. Rather than teaching academic subjects, students complete academics independently using AI-powered learning applications, allowing educators to focus on developing life skills, motivation, accountability, and high performance. This role is designed for individuals who believe in maintaining rigorous standards, using data to drive decisions, and helping students reach their full potential without lowering expectations.

As a Life Skills Educator, you will lead engaging workshops that build public speaking, focus, and feedback skills while using real-time student performance data to coach, motivate, and support students toward achieving 100% of their learning goals. You will also mentor and coach fellow teacher Guides, ensuring they consistently deliver the structured program with fidelity. Success is measured through student outcomes, satisfaction, goal completion, and the performance of the Guides you support.

Key Responsibilities

-Lead structured one-hour life skills workshops focused on public speaking, focus, and giving and receiving feedback for K–8 students.

-Motivate students using performance analytics, incentives, and accountability systems to achieve 100% of learning goals.

-Coach and mentor Guides on program quality, standards, motivation, and accountability.

-Manage and support your own cohort of students while developing the performance of other Guides.

-Monitor student engagement, satisfaction, goal completion, and Guide performance using weekly data and metrics.

-Deliver three core promises of helping students enjoy school, learn faster, and build essential life skills.

Requirements

-Bachelor's degree in Education, Psychology, Business, or a related field.

-At least 5 years of experience in education, coaching, learning and development, youth leadership, or a related field.

-Experience leading teams of five or more adults, including hiring and performance management.

-Direct experience working with children ages 5–14.

-Demonstrated success building or growing a program, business, team, school, or initiative.

-Strong analytical skills with experience using data and metrics to drive performance and decision-making.

-Legal authorization to work in the United States or Canada.

Preferred

-Master's degree in Education, Psychology, Organizational Leadership, or a related discipline.

-Leadership experience in athletics, camps, wilderness programs, youth ministry, or other youth development organizations.

-Prior experience transitioning from classroom teaching into leadership roles in EdTech, tutoring organizations, youth nonprofits, or school intervention programs.

-Early career record of exceptional academic, athletic, or professional achievement.

-Strong belief that the traditional education system needs significant change and enthusiasm for helping build a better model.
