We are recruiting an experienced Educational Governess for a private family on Fisher Island to provide academic guidance and enrichment for two children, ages 9 and 6. This is a long-term position designed for an elite private educator, with a focus on fostering intellectual curiosity, expanding cultural awareness, and supporting the children's academic development in a warm, high-expectation household. The ideal candidate views each afternoon as an opportunity to inspire learning through reading, language, the arts, and meaningful educational experiences.

The governess will oversee the children's morning routines and school drop-offs, provide after-school homework support, and plan enrichment activities that extend beyond the classroom curriculum. Additional responsibilities include coordinating and accompanying the children to extracurricular activities while creating a structured, engaging environment that encourages curiosity, independence, and a lifelong love of learning.

Candidates should have 5–10 years of dedicated governess experience along with an education degree and teaching background, or equivalent expertise in child development and education. Experience working in private households, strong discretion, cultural awareness, and verifiable long-term references are essential. In addition to English fluency, Russian language skills are highly desirable but not required. Applicants should be comfortable around dogs, possess valid U.S. work authorization, and ideally live near Fisher Island, Miami Beach, or within a reasonable commuting distance.
