This Elite Guide role is designed for former elite athletes who want to apply the discipline, resilience, and leadership that led to their athletic success to mentor and develop the next generation of student-athletes. Rather than teaching academic subjects, you'll serve as an Elite Guide, helping students build motivation, confidence, and life skills through one-on-one coaching, hands-on workshops, and structured athletic practices. The school uses adaptive learning technology for academics, allowing you to focus on personal development and sports-based mentorship in a high-energy, high-expectation environment.

Key responsibilities include leading daily motivation sessions, facilitating engaging morning kickoffs, teaching resilience, leadership, discipline, and goal-setting through interactive life-skills workshops, and running organized afternoon athletic practices that reinforce grit, teamwork, and championship standards. You'll actively engage with students throughout the day, using progress data and observations to identify challenges, provide timely coaching, and help students achieve both academic and personal goals. This is a highly interactive role that emphasizes active coaching and mentorship rather than passive supervision or traditional classroom instruction.

Ideal candidates are former Olympians, World Champions, professional athletes (NFL, NBA, MLB, MLS, or NHL), or NCAA Division I All-Americans who hold a bachelor's degree and have demonstrated success using sports to mentor and motivate others. Applicants should possess strong leadership and coaching experience, have legal authorization to work in the United States without visa sponsorship, and be willing to live in or relocate to Austin, Texas.
