Looking for a K-3 Guide to inspire and motivate young students while AI-powered learning apps deliver academic instruction. Rather than teaching through lectures or worksheets, Guides focus on helping children build confidence, resilience, communication, and other essential life skills through engaging workshops and personalized coaching. The role is designed for individuals who believe that caring for students means encouraging them to meet ambitious goals rather than lowering expectations.
Guides spend approximately half of their day leading interactive life-skills workshops covering topics such as public speaking, focus, and giving and receiving feedback, while adapting activities to meet the developmental needs of either K-1 or 2nd-3rd grade students. The remainder of the day is dedicated to one-on-one and small-group coaching sessions using analytics and incentive systems to help every student achieve their weekly learning goals and master each life skill through assessments. Success is measured by students consistently meeting academic goals, demonstrating life-skills mastery, and expressing a positive experience with their Guide.
This position is ideal for energetic educators, coaches, camp counselors, youth leaders, and performers who enjoy motivating young children through creativity, movement, and meaningful relationships rather than traditional classroom instruction. Strong candidates are comfortable adapting activities to different age groups, maintaining high expectations with warmth and encouragement, and using data to personalize coaching. High-performing Guides have opportunities to advance into Lead Guide roles, mentoring new staff while continuing to support their own student cohort.
