Seeking a highly motivated life skills guide to coach K-8 students in developing the mindset, habits, and resilience needed for long-term success. Rather than delivering traditional classroom instruction, Guides focus on motivating students to achieve ambitious academic goals using AI-powered learning apps, while leading engaging workshops that build essential life skills such as public speaking, focus, accountability, and giving and receiving feedback. The role is designed for individuals who believe that maintaining high standards is one of the most supportive ways to help students reach their full potential.
Approximately 60% of the role is spent leading interactive one-hour life skills workshops, while another 30% involves coaching students individually or in small groups using analytics to monitor progress and help them stay on track toward weekly learning goals. The remaining time is dedicated to reviewing student performance data, identifying areas for improvement, and refining coaching strategies. Success is measured by students consistently achieving their weekly learning goals, demonstrating measurable life skills growth through assessments, and reporting a positive coaching experience.
This position is ideal for experienced youth mentors, coaches, tutors, counselors, or educators who thrive on motivating students rather than lecturing them. Guides are expected to adapt coaching strategies for students of varying ages and to personalize workshops when needed, as well as actively help struggling students overcome obstacles. Strong performers have opportunities for advancement into Lead Guide and Campus Lead positions, taking on greater leadership responsibilities while continuing to shape student success.
