Private Teacher for 1st Grade Boy

Hi! We're looking for a tutor/teacher for our 1st grader, focusing on core academics: reading, writing, math, and social studies. Ideally, we would like 2 hours a day, 4 days per week, in our home M, T, Th, Fri. Schedule is flexible, mornings from 9-11 a.m. preferred. This is an ongoing job with opportunities for year-round work, pay increases, and PTO.

We're looking for someone who:

- Loves teaching kids ages 6-7

- Makes learning engaging, not just worksheets

- Lives nearby; don't want you to commute very far!

Endless coffee, tea, and snacks provided :)

Curriculum support will also be provided, details TBD.

About us: Our son is a very bright almost-6-year-old who loves working 1:1 with adults. We've worked with in-home nannies for years and can provide references. Mom and dad work from home in home offices.
