Part-Time Homeschool Teacher (5th & 7th Grade)

Location: In-Home

Schedule: Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday

Our family is seeking a dedicated and engaging part-time homeschool teacher to provide in-home instruction for two students in the 5th and 7th grades. The teacher will teach using the Bob Jones University (BJU) curriculum while creating a positive, organized, and encouraging learning environment to help each student stay motivated and make consistent academic progress.

This position is scheduled Tuesday through Thursday, with approximately three hours of instruction per child each day. The teacher will deliver lessons, monitor comprehension, reinforce key concepts, assign and review coursework, and adapt instruction to meet each student's individual learning needs. Strong communication with parents regarding student progress and achievements is also expected.

Responsibilities:

-Teach Bob Jones University curriculum to one 5th-grade and one 7th-grade student.

-Provide engaging, age-appropriate instruction across core academic subjects.

-Prepare daily lessons and guide students through assignments and assessments.

-Track academic progress and provide regular feedback to parents.

-Foster a structured, patient, and encouraging homeschool environment.

-Adjust teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles.
