Special Education Teacher

A special education teacher is needed for the 2026–2027 school year to support students with special needs. This opportunity offers a collaborative, therapist-led work environment with guaranteed hours, consistent weekday schedules and competitive W-2 compensation starting at $58 per hour, and no non-compete agreements. In this role, teachers will develop, implement, and manage individualized education programs (IEPs) that address each student's unique strengths and challenges. Responsibilities include providing specialized instruction in academic, social, and life skills, adapting teaching strategies to meet individual needs, monitoring student progress, and creating an inclusive classroom where students can achieve their full potential.

Special education teachers will work closely with families, general education teachers, administrators, and support staff to ensure students receive appropriate services and accommodations. The position emphasizes teamwork, ongoing communication, and data-driven instructional adjustments to support student growth while maintaining a positive and supportive learning environment.

Qualified candidates must hold a bachelor's or master's degree in special education or a related field and possess a valid South Carolina Special Education teaching certification or licensure. Previous special education teaching experience is preferred but not required.
