Special Education Teacher Wanted

Seeking a special education teacher for the 2026–2027 school year. Pay starts at $51 per hour for 1099 contractors, and no non-compete agreements are required.

In this role, you will provide individualized instruction for students with diverse learning needs while developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) that support academic, social, and functional growth. You will adapt teaching strategies to meet each student's unique strengths and challenges, deliver specialized instruction across multiple subject areas, and create a positive, inclusive learning environment where every student can succeed.

Collaboration is a key part of the position. You will work closely with parents, general education teachers, administrators, and related service providers to monitor student progress, update instructional plans, and ensure students receive the accommodations and services outlined in their IEPs. The ideal candidate is committed to fostering student achievement through personalized instruction, effective communication, and teamwork.

Qualified candidates must hold a bachelor's or master's degree in special education or a related field and possess a valid Georgia Special Education teaching certification or licensure. Previous special education teaching experience is preferred but not required.
