Special Education Teacher for 2026/27 School Year

Seeking a dedicated special education teacher to join our organization for the 2026–2027 school year. Our therapist-led organization is committed to supporting educators with professional autonomy while providing high-quality services to students with diverse learning needs. This position offers W-2 compensation starting at $50 per hour, no non-compete agreements, and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in an inclusive school environment.

In this role, you will develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to each student's unique strengths and educational needs. You will provide specialized instruction across academic, social, and life skills, adapt teaching strategies to support individual learning styles, and foster a positive, nurturing classroom where students can build confidence and achieve success.

Collaboration is an essential part of the position. You will work closely with classroom teachers, parents, administrators, and related service providers to monitor student progress, adjust instructional plans, and ensure students receive the accommodations and support outlined in their IEPs. The ideal candidate is committed to creating an inclusive learning environment that promotes both academic achievement and personal growth.

Qualified candidates must hold a bachelor's degree in special education or a related field, possess a valid Colorado Special Education teaching license and Colorado Department of Education (CDE) license, and maintain Nonviolent Crisis Intervention (NCI) certification.
