Early Childhood Educator Wanted (In-Home, Mondays & Fridays)

We're looking for a warm, experienced early childhood educator to continue the momentum our twin daughters (turning 2) built during their time in Early Intervention. They've thrived with structured, weekly learning sessions alongside daycare, and we want to keep that consistency going as they head toward kindergarten.

What we're looking for:

-Weekly sessions on Monday afternoons and/or Fridays(all day), in our home

-A structured but playful approach to early literacy: letter sounds, phonics foundations and sight words

-Introduction to early numeracy and number sense

Goals:

-Strong foundational skills by age 3, ahead of most programs (which typically start at 3)

-Someone comfortable working with toddlers and adapting activities as they grow

Just as important to us:

-Someone who sees and affirms our daughters' identities as Black girls, and can weave culturally reflective books, materials, and representation into learning

-A true partner in thinking through next steps whether that's helping us evaluate and integrate into a school program, or building out a rich, diverse homeschool curriculum

-Someone who enjoys collaborating with parents, not just delivering lessons in isolation

Compensation: $80–$90/hour for both children, negotiable based on experience, credentials, and what you bring to the role.
