English Language Learner Teacher (Remote)

Our growing, innovative, and customer-centric educational services company is seeking a dedicated English Language Development (ELD) Teacher to provide high-quality, personalized instruction and student support in a fully remote environment. This student-facing role is designed for an educator who is passionate about helping English Learners build language skills, confidence, and academic independence. The teacher will provide consistent, relationship-driven support through proactive communication and a white-glove service approach, helping students overcome challenges and stay on track toward graduation and future opportunities. Success requires strong ownership, responsiveness, professionalism, and a genuine commitment to student growth.

The ELD Teacher will deliver daily, targeted English Language Development instruction aligned with each student’s proficiency level, with lessons focused on measurable growth in reading, writing, listening, and speaking. The teacher will analyze student performance data to identify learning gaps, adjust instruction as needed, and intervene early when students begin to struggle or disengage. Responsibilities also include monitoring engagement and academic progress, providing timely grading and meaningful feedback, maintaining accurate intervention records, and communicating regularly with students and families through phone, text, chat, Zoom, and email. Teachers may also lead live sessions, participate in professional development and team meetings, and assist with secure testing and proctoring, including occasional travel.

This is a full-time, year-round exempt position with a fixed schedule of 8:30 a.m.–5:30 p.m. Mountain Time, requiring at least 40 hours per week of focused work. Employees must remain readily available and responsive throughout scheduled hours and maintain a professional, private, distraction-free home workspace with reliable high-speed internet. The role is best suited for educators who enjoy frequent interaction with students and parents, proactive outreach, structured expectations, performance metrics, and accountability. Strong communication, relationship-building, organization, time management, adaptability, and proficiency with Mac OS, Google Workspace, learning management systems, and task-management platforms such as Asana are important for success.

Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in English Language (EL) and a valid teaching license with a Multilingual Learner/CLD/EL endorsement or equivalent. At least two years of experience teaching English Learners in a K–12 setting either online or in person, is required, while two or more years of online teaching experience is preferred. Candidates must be able to obtain teaching certifications in Arizona, Colorado, Washington, and other states as assigned, pass required background checks, and be willing to travel for proctoring when necessary. The position offers a $50,000–$65,000 annual base salary, plus medical, dental, and vision coverage for as little as $1 per month, paid time off and major holidays, employer-paid short- and long-term disability, life and AD&D insurance, and a 401(k) with a dollar-for-dollar employer match on employee contributions of up to 6%.
