The family is committed to continuing a carefully designed Montessori-inspired educational approach, supplemented by elements of a broader academic curriculum. The tutor will help create an engaging and thoughtfully structured learning experience that encourages curiosity, independence, critical thinking, and a love of learning. The overall goal is to nurture children who are thoughtful, capable, confident, well-rounded, and prepared to take increasing ownership of their education.
This position is intended for an educator who aligns closely with the family's educational philosophy and Christian faith, is physically fit (with the energy to spend up to 8 hours daily working and learning alongside the children), committed to the highest standards of the family's privacy, and is enthusiastic about building a lasting relationship with the children. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to play an important role in shaping their academic and personal development over many years. The initial appointment will be for one year, with the potential for annual renewal based on mutual fit and continued family needs.
The position is expected to begin in September 2026 or as soon as the ideal candidate is identified, and requires a full-time commitment of 40 hours per week. Compensation is $201,600 USD annually. Suitable private accommodation and the use of a vehicle will be provided.
