Part-Time Homeschool Teacher (3rd Grade, English & Science)

We are seeking a dedicated and engaging homeschool teacher to provide personalized instruction to a 3rd grade student in English language arts and science. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced elementary educator who enjoys one-on-one teaching and can create lessons that are both academically focused and engaging. The ideal candidate will be patient, creative, dependable, and able to adapt instruction to the student’s individual learning style and needs.

Responsibilities

-Provide individualized 3rd grade English and Science instruction.

-Develop engaging, age-appropriate lesson plans aligned with the student’s academic goals.

-Support reading comprehension, writing, grammar, vocabulary, and communication skills.

-Teach foundational science concepts through hands-on activities, experiments, and real-world examples.

-Assess progress and adjust instruction based on the student’s strengths and areas for improvement.

-Encourage curiosity, critical thinking, confidence, and a positive attitude toward learning.

-Maintain a structured, supportive, and engaging homeschool environment.

-Communicate with parents regarding progress, challenges, and upcoming learning goals.
