Focus: Curriculum Development, Academic Instruction, and Student Progress

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated private homeschool teacher to take the lead in educating our 11-year-old son during the 2026–2027 school year. We are beginning our homeschooling journey and are looking for a professional educator who can take responsibility for the academic side of the experience, allowing the parent to remain involved without having to manage the day-to-day curriculum and instruction.

The ideal teacher will develop or find an acceptable complete, age-appropriate homeschool curriculum tailored to our son’s academic level, interests, strengths, and learning needs. Responsibilities will include planning lessons, teaching core subjects, creating assignments and projects, evaluating progress, and adjusting instruction as needed. We are looking for someone who can bring structure, creativity, and consistency to the homeschool experience.

This role is ideal for a teacher who enjoys one-on-one instruction and has experience with homeschooling, private education, tutoring, or curriculum development. The teacher should be organized, proactive, patient, and comfortable working independently while communicating regularly with the parent about academic progress, goals, and recommendations.
