In-Home Special Education Assistant/Teacher

We are seeking a patient, compassionate, and dependable in-home educational assistant to support our 6-year-old daughter with her daily cyber school program. This position is ideal for someone with experience working with young children with autism who can provide consistent daytime support while helping her participate in online lessons and complete her age-appropriate schoolwork.

The primary responsibility will be to assist our daughter with her cyber school assignments, virtual lessons, learning activities, and daily academic routine. Because she is nonverbal, the ideal candidate should be comfortable supporting alternative forms of communication and helping her communicate her needs, choices, and responses. A calm and encouraging approach is essential.

The successful candidate will create a structured, supportive learning environment and help keep our daughter engaged and focused throughout the school day. Experience with autism support, special education, ABA-informed strategies, communication support, or one-on-one educational assistance is highly valued. The ability to follow individualized learning plans and collaborate with parents and educators is also important for this role.
