Part-Time Homeschool Teacher for 6th Grade Boy

We are seeking a dependable and engaging part-time homeschool teacher or learning support teacher to work with a 6th-grade boy, beginning next fall in August 2027. The student is expected to enroll in an online school program, and the primary role will be to provide consistent academic support and help ensure he stays on track with his coursework.

The teacher will serve as an educational guide and accountability partner, helping the student navigate his online classes, understand assignments, and make steady academic progress. This position is well suited for an experienced teacher, tutor, homeschool educator, or academic coach who enjoys working one-on-one with middle school students.

Responsibilities will include assisting with various subjects as needed, monitoring completed assignments, reinforcing challenging concepts, and encouraging strong study and organizational habits. The teacher should be comfortable adapting support to the student's individual learning needs while promoting independence and confidence.

This is a part-time position of approximately 20 hours per week. The schedule is flexible and can be mutually arranged, with working hours falling between 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. This position is expected to begin with the 2027–2028 school year in August 2027.
