We are seeking an experienced ESL Program Manager to improve academic outcomes for emergent bilingual students across our network of secondary schools. This role will lead the implementation of effective multilingual education and language acquisition strategies while coaching educators and supporting school leadership teams. The manager will help strengthen instructional practices and ensure students developing English proficiency receive high-quality, equitable academic support.
The ESL Program Manager will coach teachers and assistant principals of student services in content-based language instruction and support campuses in implementing multilingual frameworks. The position will facilitate professional learning communities, guide data analysis, and establish measurable goals focused on improving achievement among emergent bilingual students. Strong expertise in multilingual education, instructional coaching, CBLI, and data-driven progress monitoring is essential.
This position will also oversee important program and compliance responsibilities. The manager will help schools meet English language proficiency standards and federal multilingual education requirements while collaborating with compliance managers and talent teams. Additional duties include planning and supporting Newcomer Summer Language Programs, coordinating TELPAS testing, and contributing to Title III family engagement initiatives. The role requires regular campus visits and reliable transportation to travel between multiple schools throughout the state.
Qualified candidates must have a bachelor’s degree (a master’s degree is preferred), as well as a valid Texas Teaching Certificate with ESL Supplemental certification. At least two years of leadership or instructional coaching experience is required, along with demonstrated knowledge of multilingual education practices and language acquisition strategies. This is a hybrid position reporting to regional support and leadership. The salary range is $70,000–$85,000 annually, with comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, and vision coverage, paid time off, and family leave.
