5th Grade Homeschool Teacher – Abeka Curriculum

We are seeking a dedicated and dependable 5th Grade Homeschool Teacher to support our son as he continues his home education using the Abeka curriculum. The ideal candidate will provide consistent academic guidance, help him stay organized, and ensure he completes his daily lessons and assignments successfully.

The teacher will work with him across core subjects, including Math, Science, History, Reading, and Reading Comprehension. Responsibilities will include reviewing lessons, explaining concepts clearly, providing academic support when needed, checking assignments, and helping him remain on track with the Abeka curriculum and grade-level expectations.

The ideal candidate should have experience teaching or tutoring elementary-aged students, strong knowledge of 5th grade academics, and the ability to create a positive, structured, and encouraging learning environment. A patient teaching style, excellent communication skills, reliability, and the ability to keep a student motivated and accountable are highly valued.
