Special Education Homeschool Teacher (6 Yr Old Boy, Autism)

We are looking for a dedicated, compassionate, and qualified in-person educator to provide 1-on-1 instruction for our sweet, bright 6-year-old son. He is gentle with zero behavioral challenges, but is mostly non-verbal and thrives with patient, structured communication methods.

Grade Level:

-1st Grade curriculum (core literacy, math, and foundational skills)

Profile:

-Diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (Level 1)

Ideal Qualifications:

-Degree in Special Education, Elementary Education, or a related field (teaching credential or equivalent experience preferred)

-Proven experience supporting neurodivergent learners, particularly children with ASD and expressive speech delays / non-verbal communication

-Familiarity with alternative communication strategies, visual schedules, and adaptive learning techniques

-A warm, patient, and engaging approach to individualized learning
