High School Homeschool Teacher & Academic Tutor

We are seeking an experienced and supportive High School Homeschool Teacher/Tutor to help educate two homeschooled students as they transition into high school. The ideal candidate will provide academic guidance across subjects, help the students stay organized and on track with their coursework, and create a positive learning environment that encourages independence, confidence, and motivation.

A key part of this role will be helping both students remain engaged and motivated with their studies. One of the students has ADHD and autism, so we are looking for someone who is patient, understanding, flexible, and experienced with individualized learning strategies. The teacher should be able to adapt lessons, provide clear structure, break assignments into manageable steps, and use positive reinforcement to help students make consistent academic progress.

Responsibilities will include assisting with high school classes, explaining challenging concepts, supporting assignments and projects, monitoring progress, and helping establish effective study and organizational habits. The teacher should be comfortable working with students who may need additional encouragement, structure, or alternative approaches to learning.

The ideal candidate will have experience teaching and/or tutoring high school students, strong communication and organizational skills, and a genuine interest in helping students succeed. Experience supporting students with ADHD, autism, or other learning differences is helpful.
