Pre-K Homeschool Teacher

I am looking for a caring, dependable, and engaging private homeschool teacher to work with my 4-year-old child at the pre-K level. This is an opportunity for an experienced early childhood educator to provide personalized, one-on-one instruction in a comfortable home environment while helping build a strong foundation for kindergarten and beyond.

The teacher will create fun, age-appropriate lessons that encourage curiosity, confidence, and a love of learning. Responsibilities may include introducing early literacy and phonics, basic math and number concepts, handwriting, letter and number recognition, science, art, and other foundational pre-K skills. Lessons should incorporate hands-on activities, play-based learning, movement, and creative projects to keep a young learner interested and engaged.

We are looking for someone who is patient, nurturing, organized, and comfortable working independently with a young child. Previous experience teaching or tutoring preschool or pre-K students, homeschooling, or working in an early childhood education setting is preferred. The right candidate will understand the developmental needs of a 4-year-old and be able to adapt lessons to the child's individual learning style, interests, and pace.
