We are seeking a compassionate, patient, and experienced homeschool teacher or special education teacher to support our three boys with their home education. Our three children are currently in 3rd and 6th grade respectively, and each child has unique learning needs related to autism, ADHD, or both. We are looking for someone who can provide individualized academic support while creating a calm, encouraging, and structured learning environment.
Our family already has a homeschool curriculum, educational materials, and supplies in place. The ideal teacher will be comfortable following an established curriculum while adapting lessons and teaching strategies to accommodate different learning styles, attention levels, and educational needs. Responsibilities may include guiding the children through daily lessons, explaining concepts clearly, helping with assignments, reinforcing skills, and keeping them engaged and motivated throughout their schoolwork.
Candidates should have experience working with children with autism, ADHD, or other special learning needs, and should be able to demonstrate patience, flexibility, and strong communication skills. A background in elementary or middle school education, special education, homeschooling, and/or behavioral support is highly valued. Most importantly, we are looking for someone who can build positive relationships with the children and help them feel confident and successful in their learning.
If you are an enthusiastic teacher who enjoys providing one-on-one and small-group homeschool instruction and can support children with diverse learning needs, this could be the right job for you. This is an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the academic development of three children while working directly with a family that already has the curriculum and resources prepared.
