Homeschool Teacher for High School Freshman

Hello, we are trying to find a dedicated homeschool teacher to work one-on-one with our son who is currently a freshman in high school. This position is an opportunity for an educator who can provide structure, accountability, and academic support while helping him build the habits and confidence needed to succeed.

Our son is making one final effort to remain in public school and stay with his friends, but if he is unable to make significant academic and behavioral improvements, we will need to transition him to homeschooling. We are looking for a patient but firm teacher who can create a positive learning environment, hold him accountable, and help him make a complete turnaround in his approach to education.

The teacher will come to our home and provide instruction across all core high school subjects, ensuring that he stays on track academically and continues progressing toward graduation in 2030. The ideal candidate should be comfortable working with a male high school student, organizing coursework, monitoring progress, explaining challenging material, and providing consistent guidance and motivation. His mother works from home and will be present in the house during all teaching sessions.

We are seeking someone dependable, organized, encouraging, and capable of establishing a productive relationship with a teenage student while maintaining appropriate academic expectations.
