Part-Time In-Home Preschool ESL English Teacher

Hello, I'm looking for a warm, engaging, and experienced preschool teacher or early childhood educator to provide in-home instruction for our 3½ year old daughter twice a week. Each session will be approximately 2–3 hours and will focus on building foundational American English skills while introducing age-appropriate concepts from a pre-K curriculum.

We are a French family, and although our daughter already speaks basic English, we would like to strengthen her language skills and give her a stronger foundation, both in American English and preschool education. The teacher will create fun, interactive lessons that support vocabulary, pronunciation, early communication and everyday English, while keeping learning appropriate for her age and developmental level.

Lessons may include early literacy, phonics, numbers, shapes, colors, letters, vocabulary, songs, stories, arts and crafts, and hands-on activities. We are looking for an educator who can make learning enjoyable while helping her become familiar with the structure and expectations of a U.S. pre-K classroom.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with preschool-aged children and a background in early childhood education, preschool teaching, elementary education, and/or English language learner tutoring. A patient, creative, and nurturing approach is essential, as well as the ability to make lessons engaging for a 3.5 year old learner. Thank you.
