4th Grade Homeschool Teacher / Private Tutor

I'm looking for a dedicated and engaging 4th Grade Homeschool Teacher / Private Tutor to provide comprehensive academic instruction for my son throughout the school year. The ideal candidate will enjoy working one-on-one with elementary-aged students and be able to create a positive, structured learning environment that supports both academic growth and confidence.

The teacher will be responsible for providing instruction across all core 4th grade subjects, which may include Math, English Language Arts, Reading, Writing, Science, and Social Studies. Lessons should be age-appropriate, engaging, and tailored to the student's individual learning style, strengths, and areas that need additional support.

The successful candidate should have a strong understanding of elementary education and the ability to explain concepts clearly and patiently. We are looking for someone who is dependable, organized, enthusiastic about teaching, and interested in helping a student succeed throughout the full school year.

Responsibilities

-Teach all core 4th grade academic subjects

-Develop and deliver engaging, age-appropriate lessons

-Provide individualized instruction and academic support

-Monitor progress and reinforce areas that need additional practice

-Maintain a consistent and organized learning routine

-Encourage curiosity, confidence, and a positive attitude toward learning

Qualifications

-Experience teaching or tutoring elementary-aged students

-Strong knowledge of 4th grade curriculum and core subjects

-Excellent communication and classroom-management skills

-Patient, encouraging, and dependable

-Ability to work independently and build a positive relationship with the student

-Commitment to teaching throughout the 2026/27 school year
