Regional Teachers Wanted in Western Australia

We are seeking qualified primary and secondary teachers to join our schools in regional Western Australia. This opportunity is ideal for both early-career teachers and experienced educators looking for a new professional and lifestyle experience. Each teacher will become part of a close-knit regional school community where collaboration, strong relationships, family engagement and community involvement are central to student success. Positions may be ongoing, fixed-term, relief or short-term, depending on each individual school's needs, with both immediate and future opportunities available.

Successful teachers will receive support through our internal recruitment pathway, and candidates can submit an Expression of Interest (EOI) and indicate a preferred location, or choose to be considered across all participating regions. Our program provides guidance throughout the recruitment process, including initial screening and interviews for suitable vacancies. These roles also provide opportunities to contribute to school and community life, develop leadership skills, and potentially progress into leadership positions. Relocation assistance and additional regional incentives may be available, depending on the location.

Applicants should demonstrate a strong commitment to student learning, wellbeing, and inclusive education, along with effective curriculum planning, classroom management and professional judgment. Teachers should be adaptable, collaborative and capable of building positive relationships with students, colleagues, families and the wider community. A willingness to participate actively in regional community life and engage respectfully with local histories, cultures and perspectives is important. Applicants must also be supportive of religious ethos and values of the school.

To be eligible, candidates must hold a recognised teaching qualification, hold or qualify for registration with the Teacher Registration Board of Western Australia (TRBWA), and have school-based teaching or supervised university practicum experience. For 2026 recruitment, candidates must be based in Australia or New Zealand, with successful applicants required to be based in Australia and have the legal right to work there. Experience limited to early learning centres only or other non-school settings does not satisfy the eligibility requirements.

The salary range is $91,449–$136,563 AUD per year plus 12% superannuation, with placement based on qualifications and experience in accordance with salary agreements. Regional allowances and relocation support may also be provided, depending on the location and circumstances. Graduates should also provide their final practicum placement report.
