Homeschool Teacher for 10-Year-Old Boy

We are needing a homeschool teacher or private tutor to provide academic support for our 10-year-old son. We took him out of public school last year, and we are continuing his education at home. Due to an illness within our family, we are unable to provide him with the level of educational support and one-on-one attention he needs. We are looking for a teacher who can step in and provide consistent guidance.

The right teacher will be comfortable working with an elementary-age student and creating a positive, structured, and encouraging learning environment. Responsibilities will include helping our son stay on track with his schoolwork, explaining concepts clearly, reinforcing foundational academic skills, assisting with assignments, and encouraging good study habits. We are looking for someone who can adapt the lessons and instruction to his individual learning needs while keeping him engaged and motivated.

Applicants should be patient, organized, reliable, and genuinely enjoy working with children. Previous experience as an elementary teacher, homeschool teacher, classroom teacher, academic tutor, or private educator is preferred. Strong communication skills and the ability to build a positive relationship with a 10-year-old are important because we want someone who can become a dependable source of encouragement and support.
