High School Teacher’s Aide / Academic Support Assistant

I am seeking a dependable, patient, and supportive Teacher’s Aide or Academic Support Assistant to work with our high school-aged daughter, with the possibility of supporting two daughters. This is an opportunity for someone who enjoys working with teenagers, who can provide consistent assistance with their academic responsibilities, organization, and day-to-day educational needs.

The aide will help her stay focused, understand assignments, manage her schoolwork, and develop effective study and organizational habits. Responsibilities may include reviewing lessons and assignments, providing clarification when needed, helping her stay on schedule, assisting with projects and coursework, and offering encouragement throughout the school day. The role is intended to complement the students’ existing education.

We are looking for someone who is responsible, patient, organized, and comfortable working independently with high school students. Previous experience as a teacher’s aide, tutor, classroom assistant, homeschool educator, instructional aide, or academic support professional is preferred. Strong communication skills and the ability to build a positive, respectful relationship with a teenage girl is important.

This position may initially focus on one daughter but could expand to include a second daughter depending on educational needs and scheduling. The right candidate will be dependable, encouraging, and committed to helping students become more confident, organized, and successful in their high school education.
