High School Math & English Teacher

I am looking for a female in-person high school math and English teacher to provide individualized academic instruction for our daughter. The ideal candidate will be an engaging educator who can make challenging concepts easier to understand while creating a supportive, focused, and encouraging learning environment.

Responsibilities will include providing instruction and tutoring in high school mathematics and English, reviewing coursework, explaining difficult concepts, strengthening academic skills, assisting with assignments, and preparing the student for tests and other assessments. Lessons should be tailored to the student’s individual learning style, current academic level, and educational goals.

The teacher should have prior experience teaching or tutoring high school students and possess strong knowledge of both mathematics and English language arts. Excellent communication skills, patience, reliability, and the ability to provide one-on-one instruction are expected. A teaching, education, or related academic background is preferred.

This position is best suited for a female educator or tutor (since the student is female), who enjoys working directly with high school students and is committed to helping them improve their academic performance and confidence.
