Online Math Tutor for 9 Year Old Student

Good afternoon, my 9 year old daughter is in need of some help with her math core work. I was thinking once or twice a week at our home virtually. Looking for an experienced elementary math teacher to provide academic tutoring and support online for a 9-year-old elementary school student who needs additional assistance with her core math coursework. The ideal teacher will have a strong understanding of elementary mathematics and enjoy helping children build confidence, while improving the student's academic skills.

The tutor will work one-on-one with the student to reinforce math concepts, explain challenging problems, assist with current coursework, and provide additional practice as needed. Lessons should be engaging and tailored to the student’s individual learning pace and needs, with an emphasis on developing strong foundational math skills and independent problem-solving abilities.

Although we expect to do this online, this position could also be conducted in person at the family’s home, depending on availability. The expected schedule is approximately one to two sessions per week, with flexibility to establish a consistent arrangement that works well for both the family and teacher.
