Bilingual Homeschool Teacher (Spanish/English, Afternoons, 2 Kids)

Private Family, Part-Time Afternoons, Monday-Friday 2:30-5:30pm, $80/Hour ($1200/Week)

We are looking for a bilingual elementary classroom teacher to homeschool two advanced children (a 6 year old girl in 1st grade and 4 year old boy in pre-K/kinder) in person Monday-Friday afternoons from 2:30pm-5:30pm. This is a wonderful opportunity for the right elementary teacher: a part-time homeschool position for three hours in the afternoon teaching only two students that pays $80/hour ($1200/week). This is an immediate opportunity for the current 2026/27 school year.

We would like to find an elementary teacher who is able to teach all core subjects in both Spanish and English, who will partner with the parents to co-create and aggregate homeschool curricula for the children. We are looking for a teacher to fill in and strengthen each child’s academic foundation, while also expanding on each child’s interests and abilities. (Both children need to be challenged, and they both enjoy hands-on creative learning.)

The right teacher will be engaging, curious (also a learner), and genuinely interested in each child’s uniqueness, as well as reactive to their abilities. In addition to delivering and helping the parents create and aggregate homeschool curricula, the teacher will also be responsible for taking the kids on education-related excursions and other extra-curricular endeavors. (The teacher can use a vehicle provided by the family, and can also use the beach and area around the family’s house as part of “the classroom.”) Teacher candidates should have at least a BA, and a minimum of one year of professional elementary teaching experience in the classroom. Applicants must be bilingual and fluent in both English and Spanish. State certification is preferred, but not required.
