Homeschool Teacher / Private Educator

My granddaughter is having emotional issues in public school, so we are looking into finding a homeschool teacher or private educator to provide one-on-one instruction. We are exploring educational alternatives and hoping for a more supportive setting where she can feel comfortable, confident, and successful. This would be a dedicated homeschool teaching position rather than a traditional tutoring role. The teacher we seek should be able to provide consistent academic instruction, establish a structured homeschool routine, and create a positive learning environment tailored to the student's individual needs.

Experience teaching first grade or elementary-aged children is required. Additional experience teaching in a homeschool, private school, or one-on-one setting is a plus. Our family is looking for someone who is patient, nurturing, dependable, and capable of taking ownership of the student's educational program. The teacher should be comfortable helping with core first-grade subjects while keeping lessons engaging, developmentally appropriate, and encouraging. Because we have significant other responsibilities, we are seeking an educator who can provide reliable, ongoing educational support with minimal oversight. We don't have the energy or time between our age, work, and medical issues.

She just started 1st grade, so this opportunity is ideal for an elementary teacher, homeschool educator, private teacher, and/or experienced classroom teacher who enjoys creating a supportive one-on-one learning experience for young students. Thank you for your time.
