Homeschool Teacher (7th Grade Girl)

We would like to find a homeschool teacher to provide individualized instruction for our 7th-grade daughter. She is currently working approximately three grade levels below her expected academic level and has ADHD, so we are looking for a teacher who can meet her where she is academically while helping her build confidence, strengthen foundational skills, and make consistent progress.

The instructor would provide one-on-one homeschool instruction across core academic subjects, including language arts, reading, writing, mathematics, science, and social studies. Lessons should be adapted to her current skill level and learning pace, with an emphasis on filling academic gaps and developing the skills necessary to gradually work toward grade-level expectations.

Experience supporting students with ADHD and significant academic gaps is highly valued. The teacher will use patient, engaging, and structured teaching strategies to maintain attention, encourage participation, and make learning manageable and rewarding. Positive reinforcement, clear routines, frequent check-ins, and individualized instruction should be incorporated as appropriate to help her stay focused and motivated.

The teacher we are looking for will have experience teaching or tutoring middle school students and a strong understanding of differentiated instruction. A background in special education, learning support, homeschooling, or working with students who have ADHD is preferred. We are looking for someone dependable, compassionate, and committed to helping our daughter develop academically, improve her confidence, and become a more independent learner.
