JOB DESCRIPTION

Our staffing company is seeking a dedicated and compassionate special education teacher to join our team for the 2026–2027 school year. This opportunity is designed for educators who are committed to helping students with diverse learning needs succeed in a supportive school environment. Teachers will benefit from guaranteed hours, a stable weekday schedule, competitive compensation for both direct and indirect work, and dedicated clinical support. Our organization is therapist-run and promotes professional independence and growth with no non-compete clauses in our contracts, and starting pay of $60 per hour.

The Special Education Teacher will provide individualized instruction based on each student's unique abilities, learning style, and educational needs. Responsibilities include developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), delivering instruction across academic subjects, and supporting students in developing social and life skills. Teachers will adapt instructional strategies as needed while creating a positive, inclusive, and nurturing classroom environment where students can make meaningful progress.

Successful candidates must have a bachelor's or master's degree in special education or a related field, along with a valid New Hampshire teaching certification or license in special education. Previous experience as a special education teacher is preferred, but not required. The role also involves working closely with fellow educators, parents, and support professionals to monitor student development, evaluate progress, modify teaching strategies, and ensure that each student receives appropriate and consistent support.

As a W-2 employee, special education teachers will receive health, vision, and dental insurance, a 401(k), life insurance, paid time off, professional development opportunities, and weekly direct-deposit pay. Our company emphasizes a collaborative, therapist-led workplace that gives educators the professional freedom and resources to grow while making a meaningful difference in students' lives.
