Hello Everyone!
My name is Monique. I am originally from Britain, but now currently live in beautiful South Africa.
I love watching movies, listening to music, researching family history and spending time with my son and husband.
When I am not teaching English you can find me in either a book shop looking for interesting books to read or a craft shop getting supplies for my next craft project.

I hold an Advanced Diploma in TESOL as well as a pass in the module 1 section of the Cambridge English Teachers knowledge test. I also hold a Diploma in Web Design and Graphic.

I have taught in both face-to-face schools and online schools for the last 5 years. During my time as an online English teacher I have taught both group lessons as well as private lessons, to students from beginner to advance.
I have experience preparing students for the following exams:
KET, PET, IELTS, FCE and CAE.

My approach to teaching is very much student-centred, to bring out the best in each student. During out lessons we will work together to build on your strengths and to improve the areas you feel are your weaknesses. I am very flexible, encouraging and patient when it comes to comes to teaching. I personally believe learning English should be fun!

During our trial lesson, we will discuss your interests, hobbies and goals as well as your study plans. This will allow me to customise lessons to your specific needs. I give homework in the form of listening and writing activities.

Over the last 5 years I have taught a variety of students from different countries as well as different professions from Doctors, Lawyers, IT professionals as well as other specialisations.
I am very supportive of my students wants and needs and encourage them along their way to achieving their goals.
