Hello folk! My name’s Amine BOUHZAM. I am presently an official teacher with the ministry of Education in Morocco, teaching from Beginning to Post-Advanced classrooms. Prior to this semester, I was a site coordinator for Adventure Club, a before- and after-school child care program in Casablanca Public Schools. My summers between semesters have been spent working at various camps and summer school programs. Additional experience has been gained through tutoring, field experiences, and volunteer work.
In my work with distinguished levels, I stress critical thinking and the incorporation of design and creative units into the course. The student response is very encouraging, as we had a 100% passing rate for this section. In addition, our team meets state curricula guidelines and receives numerous positive comments from students’ families regarding the class material. Both my cooperating teacher and my supervisor from the teacher preparation program compliment me on my enthusiastic classroom presentations.
I am very excited to have the chance to tutor at LRNGO! I have challenged special education for twenty years. I have the wisdom and experience that will help me deal with any organization and/or school situation that arises. I am knowledgeable about curriculum, standards and assessment. I also have the technological skills to be an effective 21st Century teacher. In addition, I have organized and run all school-events and organizations such as the school talent show, the Student Council, the Student Intervention Team and the Faculty Social Committee. I definitely have leadership skills. I am very hard working and dedicated. I know that I will be an asset to any course.
Additionally, I am reliable, detail-oriented and extremely hardworking associate and I see to it that my responsibilities are always my first priority. I have good communication skills and the ability to follow instructions as well and make decisions with minimal supervision. These are the qualities I have which will be a value addition for any efl school as well as for my career and I believe nobody wants to lose a good resource.
I am very interested in tutoring at LRNGO for many reasons. First of all, my emphasis is on creative educational pedagogy and education. I am a teacher because I enjoy hard work and helping others find success to enhance high-quality international and cross-cultural education. I want my students to experience meaningful, interesting learning that applies to their lives. I believe this can be accomplished through the use of hands-on/minds-on activities, cooperative learning, an integrated curriculum, and, when possible, technology and the internet.
I am confident that as a tutor and/or trainer at LRNGO, I can create a productive learning environment that is student-centered.
