I have over 17 years experience in education w/a diverse background working with children of all ages, newborns-toddlers at a daycare, preschool children, & 1st -12th-grade kiddos all with various backgrounds & needs. I taught within Private, Charter and Public Schools for over 12 years & w/kids in various capacities: private tutor/homebound teaacher for over 8 years. Several of those years were spent teaching students with autism in a self-contained setting. I've also taught inclusion at the high school level in multiple subjects working with kiddos in the general education classroom teaching students with and without special needs.
I have had the opportunity to teach students of various backgrounds, with much diversity, multitude of special needs, students in a trauma informed school, certified tutor in-person and virtually, as well as working within daycares, preschools, as a para, Director and School Lead for a before/Afterschool programs, and as a Nanny while getting my teaching degree.
I absolutely love working with & being around kids! I have a passion for learning and sharing what I know with others. I'm definitely a big kid at heart, always up for a new adventure & thoroughly enjoy trying new things while engaging in new memorable experiences! I have a great appreciation for nature & being outdoors embracing all of the natural beauty, especially watching the sunset or if I'm up early enough, seeing the sunrise!
I have been fortunate to have a hand in differentiated instruction and learning within all types of classroom settings and grade levels giving me a greater depth of knowledge working with kiddos. Over the years I have continued to grow, learn, engage in new experiences all of which have strengthened the love and zealI have for teaching our next generation.
