I hold a Masters Degree in TESOL and Conflict Transformation as well as a Graduate Certificate in Peace-Building. I have taught English for over 5 years in Latin America, as well as with vulnerable populations across the East Coast of the United States.

I have worked as a journalist for over 14 years and have published work, both creative and expository in various media outlets.

My Bachelors degree is in Literature and Writing.

I wish to become conversant in mathematics from arithmetic to Calculus I, II, III, Linear Algebra and differential Equations as well as Statistics, Trigonometry and Algebra.

"Conversant" is the word I hope to use. As a linguist who needs to be fluent in mathematical concepts for further doctoral work I hope to be able to "think" mathematically.

I can teach English, TESOL, TOEFL, writing, reading, and ESP at a high level.
