Hello! I'm Prescilla-- though I go by Deserae-- and I'm thrilled to have the chance to help you or your homeschoolers through a classical education. As a teacher of 3rd-8th Grade literature and a college consultant, my approach to learning is holistic. I work with the student(s) I teach by creating or adjusting curriculum as I go to fit their particular interests, building up their weak areas, and fostering a love for literature (or whatever we're studying) through cross-curricular, project-based learning. Our initial meeting will be more of a consultation than anything to see if we're the right fit for one another, but as soon as we get off of that chat, I'll be developing a syllabus for your child one month at a time. I have limited in person availability and flexible online availability. T-F 10 AM - 2 PM I tend to be available; I'm happy to provide a link to my calendar to help schedule outside of these hours.
