My name is Ian Jayne. I am currently a sophomore English major/Writing minor at Oklahoma Christian University, with junior hours. I am also a member of the Honors program. I have my own blog ( s ianjayne.wordpress.com/) and I hope to pursue a career that involves writing and/or editing.

I am an academically-minded student who loves to learn and write. I have taken relevant courses in creative writing, technical writing, American and British literature, and literary criticism. Additionally, I have an active member of the Language and Literature Department at OC, serving as the Historian for the Rho Mu chapter of Sigma Tau Delta, the National English Honors Society. Recently, I presented a paper at the 2016 Sigma Tau Delta National Conference.

During the school year, I work at the Writer’s Block, the on-campus writing center at Oklahoma Christian University. At the Writer’s Block, I provide one-on-one academic support to students, aiding in both structural edits and basic grammar.

Currently, I am seeking a job or internship related to writing, editing, or publishing. I hope to obtain a position within my chosen field, engage with like-minded individuals, and offer my writing skills.
