I first picked up the guitar in the summer of '06. I taught myself how to play by reading tabs and watching YouTube. A year and a half later I joined a rock/metal band with my brother which inspired me to learn more about music. In 2009, my sophomore year of high school, I started taking theory and piano classes until I graduated. I went on to study at San Jac where I majored in Audio Engineering and Music Composition. I took private lessons for guitar with Frank Rodriguez from Frank N' Strings and composition with Joseph Schenck from Pangea. I also played in the Jazz Band and Steel Bands where I learned concert etiquette, highly effective practice routines, teamwork and much more. I plan to pursue at least a bachelor's in music.
