I've been a first, third, and fourth grade teacher for the last twenty one years. I love teaching reading and writing! I also love introducing students to new and/or classic literature that is of interest to them. I try to find out each student's interests so that I can find books, and especially series of books, that will keep them wanting to read and instill a lifelong love of reading.
