My name is Tyler Scott and I am a current junior at the University of Houston studying both English and Marketing. I am currently pursuing a path in publishing but would love to teach others about reading and writing at the high school level in the meantime. I have had experience working with other writers at magazines such as Cooglife where I myself was a content writer and also have plenty of experience editing and analyzing pieces as an Associate Editor at Glass Mountain magazine. My academics have provided me a wide reach in the understanding of literature, various sources, and knowledge of various pieces that have spanned centuries. Reading and writing are valuable skills to have no matter what you do and I also encourage creative writing so I would be happy to provide lessons on getting started on those. Writing creatively does not always have to be thought of in a serious and complicated aspect. If you want to know how to write creatively for the sake of having fun and creating something special that you want to share with people, I would be honored to help begin that process and encourage imagination. My experience in professional sales classes and marketing can also be used as a service when it comes to getting your works out there in the world should you feel inclined to.
