I am an avid reader of all types of books that deal with all genres. I am working on my doctoral dissertation in the field of reading and literacy. In reading books I really like reading children's literature and to write lessons on how to use them in the classroom. I hope to teach professional development and teacher training workshops whenever I can. In the past I have studied how to be an accounting clerk, day care teacher, certified nursing assistant and a practical nurse. I have done all of these professions, but I realized that I wanted to teach college so I completed a Masters in Curriculum & Instruction and a Post masters in College teaching to where I am now towards my doctoral degree. I would really like to share lessons or units or maybe teach whole courses dealing with academics, literature, preschool, etc. I want to help people learn and yet have fun while they are learning.
